Long Arm Quilting

The Process

Prepping Your Quilt – Please make sure your quilt top and backing are clean and pressed with no open seams. I require 10 inches extra of backing fabric in order for me to load your quilt. For example, if your quilt top measures 70″x80″ then backing must be 80″x90″. Please do not have any embellishments or pieces that are not stitched down on your quilt. Batting can be provided as long as it is a high quality batting.  I do offer Hobbs 80/20 batting at $19.99/metre.

Quilt Size Pricing & Size Guide

Digitized edge to edge designs are offered at $3.50 per square foot plus a $30.00 loading fee.

To estimate the cost of having your quilt finished measure your quilt. Multiply the width by length to figure out the square footage then divide by 144 to figure out the square feet then multiply by $3.50. Example: 70x80=5,600 ÷ 144 = 38.9 sq. ft x $3.50 = $136.11

*There is a $50 minimum fee on any given quilt project.
**Please make note that the "Premiere Patterns" are $4.00 per sq ft.

A pantograph is a design that is primarily used with longarm quilting machines. Computerized quilting machines use robotics connected to a computer system to follow a digital pattern that is inputted into the computer.  Pantographs can range in size and with computer software can be manipulated to the proper density that will compliment your quilt.
